Vote of Person Holding Two Offices

Executive Officers in my HOA can hold two offices. For example, one person is both Vice President and Secretary of a 4-member team (President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer). Does she get two votes or only one vote? In other words, is it the person voting only once (being one person) or voting twice by virtue of holding two offices?

One person, one vote. Count heads, not hats.

But watch out for some combinations. For example, you probably don't want the same person to serve as both president and secretary (and, if your president leaves office early, that's what will happen since your vice-president will automatically become your president). You also don't want the same person to serve as both president and vice-president.

Serving as both secretary and treasurer is probably the most common (and safest) combination.
