Guest Janet Posted May 28, 2015 at 11:56 AM Report Share Posted May 28, 2015 at 11:56 AM I am the recording secretary for a council. There has not been a quorum for over 2 years, therefore the last meeting minutes were not approved. Does the new council members approve those minutes? None were present when the meeting took place. There were no motions or task items from that meeting. Thanks very much for your help! Janet

I would think there'd be two years' worth of minutes that haven't been approved.
Rev Ed Posted May 28, 2015 at 05:32 PM Report Share Posted May 28, 2015 at 05:32 PM Of course, if there was no quorum to approve the Minutes, then there was no quorum to do almost anything else (other then to try and get a quorum), so the Minutes should rather short in length.
