Guest Becky Posted June 20, 2015 at 11:16 PM Report Share Posted June 20, 2015 at 11:16 PM Only Board Members can make/second motions at our Board of Directors meetings. However, at our last one (days after the fact) is was discovered that a non board member seconded a motion and it was voted upon. The reason this occurred and no one caught it is that this person was our outgoing treasurer and he's always at our meetings. This was the first meeting of the newly elected board. But does this case fall under the exceptions and therefore the motion becomes null & void?
