Editorial Amendment

Our Homeowner Association is doing an editorial amendment to our Bylaws. My questions:

  1. Do we present this as an amendment to the assembly to vote?
  2. Under Resolution, our board of directors has the authority to correct article and section designations and make other technical conforming changes. Can this editorial amendment be fixed using Resolution?

Current Bylaws:

Section 3. Annual Fees

  1. Park Maintenance Fee
  1. Annual fee of fifty dollars ($50.00) shall be paid to the treasurer by December 31.
  2. The fee will be used to maintain playground, park fence, lawn mowing and snow removal.
  3. The fee will be administrated by the directors of the Homeowner Association.
  1. Project Fee
  1. Annual fee of ten dollars ($10.00) shall be paid to the treasurer by December 31.
  2. The fee will be used for Easter Egg Hunt and summer garage sale.
  3. The fee will be administrated by the Special Project Committee.

Proposed editorial amendment:

Section 3. Annual Fees

Annual fee of sixty dollars ($60.00) per household shall be paid to the treasurer which shall be allocated as follows:

  1. Park Maintenance Fee of fifty dollars ($50.00)
  1. The fee will be used to maintain playground, park fence, lawn mowing and snow removal.
  2. The fee will be administrated by the directors of the Homeowner Association.
  1. Project Fee of ten dollars ($10.00)
  1. The fee will be used for Easter Egg Hunt and summer garage sale.
  2. The fee will be administrated by the Special Project Committee.
