Guest Chris Trainque Posted February 21, 2017 at 01:05 PM Report Share Posted February 21, 2017 at 01:05 PM At an Executive Board meeting, does the board have to approve a visitor to sit in on the meeting? Should the visitor have purpose to sit in and can the board ask the person to leave while meeting?
jstackpo Posted February 21, 2017 at 01:26 PM Report Share Posted February 21, 2017 at 01:26 PM In the order you asked.... Yes, although if there is no objection when the visitor sits in, that is fine, too. One would hope so, but that question's answer is up to the visitor. Yes - majority vote to go into executive session is one way to do it. A polite request to leave also might be enough.
