I know of no requirement that any nominee leave the room during an election. After all, the nominee himself has a right to cast a vote. You will need to be a little bit more specific as to what exactly are these so-called "guidelines" that were not followed in order to get perhaps a better answer. Are these bylaw restrictions, special rules of order, or just customs that the group follows?

Went nominated , nominee are ask to leave room,so the group can enter discussion about qualification.

On what authority?  Is there any actual rule requiring this?  It's certainly not proper under RONR to exclude a member from discussion.  It occurs to me that the candidate might have something useful to say about his qualifications.
