KIP Posted April 19, 2018 at 09:57 PM Report Share Posted April 19, 2018 at 09:57 PM Can we release board minutes before they have been approved by the board at the next meeting? The meetings are open to the members of the organization, but often they don't attend. They still want to know what went on at the meeting. J. J. Posted April 19, 2018 at 10:09 PM Report Share Posted April 19, 2018 at 10:09 PM Yes, a rule could be adopted to permit it. I would recommend against adopting such a rule; at some point, you will probably be sending something inaccurate out to the members.

I would suggest, however, that if such a rule is adopted, the draft minutes should be clearly marked as a draft.
