Deb Parm Posted March 27, 2019 at 08:13 PM Report Share Posted March 27, 2019 at 08:13 PM I have had someone question whether a chair is required for all committees. I would say yes, but I can't find anything that backs that up. Thoughts?
jstackpo Posted March 27, 2019 at 08:16 PM Report Share Posted March 27, 2019 at 08:16 PM Somebody has to have the responsibility of getting things under way, doing what is asked of the committee. And reporting to the parent body what the committee did, concluded, recommends, &c. Chairman is the best bet to do all that, and more. I see you haven't been to too many 2FP committee meetings. Standing becomes quite challenging after a few rounds.

(And they should get rid of the vice chairman, who isn't helping the matter.)
