Guest Leanne Posted May 16, 2019 at 05:10 PM Report Share Posted May 16, 2019 at 05:10 PM Board passes a budget to be present at a regular called meeting. Quorum for such called meeting is 20% of members in good standing. Does the number of board members present at this meeting count toward the quorum and are they allowed to vote? Guest Leanne Posted May 16, 2019 at 05:33 PM Report Share Posted May 16, 2019 at 05:33 PM Can they vote on their proposed budget along with regular members?
Rob Elsman Posted May 16, 2019 at 05:36 PM Report Share Posted May 16, 2019 at 05:36 PM Yes, if they are members of the general membership assembly, they can make motions, speak in debate, and vote right along with other members. If some of them are not members of the general membership of the organization, these persons will not enjoy these rights.

Richard Brown Posted May 16, 2019 at 06:53 PM Report Share Posted May 16, 2019 at 06:53 PM In other words, Guest Leanne, the answer is "Yes". It will remain "Yes" as long as you keep asking the question. If they are members of the organization, they can vote at membership meetings.
