Angie N Posted June 20, 2019 at 07:04 AM Report Share Posted June 20, 2019 at 07:04 AM Hello, I have a couple of questions about standing rules. I understand they are administrative details. 1) Where would they be added on the agenda and 2) Do they have to be read at every meeting? Guest Zev Posted June 20, 2019 at 09:25 AM Report Share Posted June 20, 2019 at 09:25 AM (1) I would suspect under New Business. (2) No. They can be referred to in the same booklet with the rest of the bylaws. Quote Like special rules of order, standing rules may be printed under a separate heading in the booklet containing the bylaws, and in such a case, any enacting words such as "Resolved, That" should be dropped. RONR 11th edition page 18.

I was thinking once adopted it needs to be read at each meeting
