BabbsJohnson Posted July 2, 2019 at 09:59 PM Report Share Posted July 2, 2019 at 09:59 PM Pretty much the questioin in the title. Can the President, or Management, or the Board, design any kind of process of "conflict resolution" or discipline, that is not already defined in the by-laws, or in RONR? Guest Zev Posted July 3, 2019 at 01:37 AM Report Share Posted July 3, 2019 at 01:37 AM According to RONR if the bylaws do not give them the authority to do so then they cannot do such a thing. Perhaps rules for HOAs indicate otherwise but that is a legal question and not a parliamentary question.

I highly doubt that the President or Management could do so. Conceivably the board could do so, to the extent that the process concerns only those disciplinary matters which the organization’s bylaws authorize the board to consider, and to the extent that the process does not conflict with those rules.
