Guest Ally Posted October 22, 2019 at 01:53 AM Report Share Posted October 22, 2019 at 01:53 AM What recourse is there when an executive committee is continually called out at member meeting out for not following bylaws? What to do when response of chair is we will look into for many months and there is no action. How can one member change course?
Chris Harrison Posted October 22, 2019 at 02:04 AM Report Share Posted October 22, 2019 at 02:04 AM A single member probably can't do much. However, the membership (as a whole) should look into what options they have to rein in the Executive Committee and Chair. Is there a way to remove some or all of the Executive Committee members from office and elect people who will follow the rules?

Elect officers and board members who are committed to following the rules. You can also try to remove those who do not. Edited to add: See FAQ No. 20 on the main website for starters on how to remove officers: http://www.robertsrules.com/faq.html#20 Edited October 22, 2019 at 02:33 AM by Richard Brown Added last paragraph
