Alex Meed Posted November 26, 2019 at 12:57 AM Report Share Posted November 26, 2019 at 12:57 AM A society has an executive board that refers a matter to a special committee of the board. May members of the society who are not board members be appointed to the committee? Does the answer change based on how the committee members are appointed? jstackpo Posted November 26, 2019 at 02:42 AM Report Share Posted November 26, 2019 at 02:42 AM Non-members of the appointing body may serve on the board's committee. See page for some special restrictions in that regard. I can't tell what you are asking in your second question, for sure, but I suspect the answer is "no".
