Angie N Posted April 26, 2020 at 11:54 PM Report Share Posted April 26, 2020 at 11:54 PM Hello, From what I've read conforming amendments are considered conforming when they all needed in order to achieve one end. They all need to pass or fail together. They are not dividable. I am still not fully understanding conforming amendments. Can someone give me an example of conforming amendments? Thank you! Joshua Katz Posted April 27, 2020 at 12:24 AM Report Share Posted April 27, 2020 at 12:24 AM Suppose you wish to amend your bylaws to add a new standing committee, and that a few places in your bylaws state that there are 3 standing committees. Changing all those to 4 is a conforming amendment to the original amendment.

Joshua Katz Posted September 19, 2021 at 12:44 PM Report Share Posted September 19, 2021 at 12:44 PM I move to strike all instances of "three standing committees" and insert in their places "four standing committees."

Do you have to write every place in the bylaws where it appears or do you have to identify every instance of where it appears?
