This motion to amend was to strike an item from the agendas new business. Is it possible to remove an item from the agenda as an amendment, or should an amendment only amend the item? Quote

Yes, it is possible to remove an item from a proposed agenda while it is pending for adoption by use of the subsidiary motion to Amend. Quote
