Dunga Posted January 28, 2021 at 08:46 PM Report Posted January 28, 2021 at 08:46 PM In the bylaws of the organization, it is stated that there are a specific number of committee's. If the Board has not chosen committee chairs, or the committee is non existent, does that mean the board or the organization is not in compliance? Quote

Yes, I think it is correct to say that if the organization's bylaws provide for certain committees, and some of those committees currently have no members, then the organization is not in compliance with its bylaws with respect to the provisions regarding those committees. This matter should be rectified as soon as possible by appointing members to the committees. Alternately, if the organization no longer wishes to have some of these committees, the bylaws should be amended to remove those committees. Edited January 28, 2021 at 09:40 PM by Josh Martin Quote
