Guest Puzzling Posted February 20, 2021 at 02:07 PM Report Posted February 20, 2021 at 02:07 PM To introduce a motion for an action outside the organization's mission a 2/3 vote to authorize the introduction is needed. So for example a motion to organise a chess competition for a tennis organization needs a 2/3 vote to authorize the introduction. But what vote is needed to adopt the motion? Quote

The same vote as usual, which will generally be a majority vote. After the 2/3 vote hurdle is cleared to introduce the motion outside the scope of the organization's object, the motion is then treated the same as any other motion. Quote
