Then it seems the Point of Order and Appeal wouldn't have much success at the board anyway, even if the member could raise it.

Someone could try to take this issue to the general membership and see if they are willing to address it.

Alternately, the member could consult an attorney to see what legal options might be available - but that would be beyond the scope of RONR and this forum.

Setting aside the present matter, members might also wish to amend the bylaws to change the disciplinary procedures pertaining to the removal of board members, if it is believed that the present rules are undesirable due to the lack of protections for the accused.
