Guest Nardeb Posted September 5, 2021 at 07:47 PM Report Share Posted September 5, 2021 at 07:47 PM This is a question about an HOA board. If after multiple attempts to elect a president by a newly seeded board results in a 3-3 vote, what is the procedure to remedy the issue? Is it possible for the past president, who is still on the board to act in that capacity on a temporary basis? Thank you!

In the event the assembly ends up postponing the election rather than completing it at that time, it may or may not the case that the incumbent President will continue to serve until the election can be completed. It depends on exactly what the bylaws say regarding the term of office.
