PAPS Posted September 10, 2021 at 02:11 PM Report Share Posted September 10, 2021 at 02:11 PM Good morning! While reviewing our social club's Governing Documents (By-Laws and Constitution), I discovered that one of our Standing Resolution (SR) omitted the copy of "Addendum A" which is referenced in the SR. It's my understanding that it is a worksheet to help members tabulate year end awards qualifications. When I approached the originator of the SR, she is refusing to had over the worksheet file stating it never gets used. No one has a copy...argh! My questions: 1. Do I need a vote by the members to remove the reference to the Addendum? 2. Can I add an "Addendum A" that would be similar without a vote of the members? Thank you, Amy

It seems to me the document is effectively a part of the standing rule in question, and therefore, changes to the document would effectively be an amendment to the standing rule. Of course, if it is correct that the document is never used, perhaps there isn't any point in making a new document.
