Guest Ann Posted November 10, 2021 at 03:28 PM Report Share Posted November 10, 2021 at 03:28 PM We just found out that there were some issues with our organization's electronic election results. Two hundred members attended the meeting to cast their vote. We are holding a special meeting next week to conduct a second vote. All 300 financial members are being invited to the meeting to cast a vote. Can members not in attendance at the normal montly meeting be allowed to vote at this special meeting? Looking for advice. Unless your bylaws provide otherwise, yes. So far as RONR is concerned, any member who is present at the time the vote is taken may vote. Whether the member was present at some time earlier in the meeting (let alone whether the member was present at previous meetings) is irrelevant.
