Joshua Katz Posted March 25, 2023 at 01:33 AM Report Share Posted March 25, 2023 at 01:33 AM Nothing in RONR says that election meetings need to be closed to non-members. Under RONR, it is up to the body meeting to decide who may attend, either by rule or one meeting at a time. Without such a decision, the default is that only members have a right to attend. But as a union, there are likely statutes that apply, as well as the union's own governing rules.

There's no rule in RONR that it must be closed, but I can't think why it wouldn't be.
