That procedure, however, only removes him from presiding but does not take away any of his administrative powers as president. For information on removing the president from presiding at a particular meeting, see RONR 62: 10 - 62:15. You can probably ignore 62:11 because that provision applies only to a president pro-tem who is not the regular presiding officer. 62:12 is most likely the provision you would use. In order to remove the president from office, if your bylaws are silent, you would need to follow the provisions in 62:16 and possibly all of section 63, depending on the terms of office described in your bylaws. If your bylaws contain a provision for removing the president (or any officers), those procedures would trump the provisions in RONR.
