voting on meeting minutes

Could I ask: if a board member is not at the meeting, do they need to voice their vote on the approval of minutes? Wouldn't the minutes be approved as read or as corrected? why would a roll call o the approval of minutes be necessary? Just curious."

No member "needs" to vote but any member is FREE to vote (or not) as he wishes, regardless of how much he knows about what he's voting on.

A roll-call vote (or any vote) to approve the minutes is more than unnecessary, it's improper."

If it is not within the quarter or there has been a change in membership, the executive committee or a specially assigned committee would approve the minutes. The theory being that it was a different body, and how can the current body possibly confirm wha"
