So to put it in specific terms with an example, if a member were to make a point of order referencing RONR, would another member have a valid argument if they respond by saying, no where in our governing documents does it state that we are bound to RONR?"

That's not a very specific example.

Absent RONR, one could say that there's no such thing as a "point of orde"
