Yikes.

Firstly, the nominating committee should report to the people who will be doing the electing. That's the general membership, not the board. Of course your rules may vary.

I agree that we have an "intermediate" step - report to the Board - it is what it is. And although I used the term "slate," at the meeting of the Assembly each nominee recommended by the nominating committee (assuming it was approved "
