Guest carconsultant Posted July 13, 2010 at 02:04 PM Report Share Posted July 13, 2010 at 02:04 PM In an Executive Session, does the Chair "rule supreme"?In other words, if a director requests an executive session, can the Chair unilaterally decide to deny this? If not, what is the proper procedure to deny this motion? Also, just for my knowledge, what is the proper procedure to request an executive session? George Mervosh Posted July 13, 2010 at 02:52 PM Report Share Posted July 13, 2010 at 02:52 PM A motion to enter into executive session is debatable and requires a majority vote to adopt.Edit: In an Executive Session, does the Chair "rule supreme"?I skipped that question because it was rhetorical, or should have been rhetorical.
