A motion was made and seconded (clearly a few board members were not in support). In the midst of the ensuing discussion, another motion was made but never seconded. More lengthy discussion on the topic and finally the President reminded them that there was a motion with a second on the floor and another motion without a second. No one seconded the second motion, and they took a vote on the first, to which two members were against.

How should the second motion be reflected in the minutes, if at all?

How are the two dissenting votes reflected in the minutes?

1) It shouldn't be as it was null and void anyway.

2) Unless a count was taken, you don't reflect them.
