Kim Goldsworthy Posted July 16, 2010 at 04:55 PM Report Share Posted July 16, 2010 at 04:55 PM How do you go about amending your minutes once they have been issued?Under "new business", make a motion so.E.g., "I move to amend the minutes of July 2010, to correct the spelling of Mr. Yaztrzemski, which is missing the middle 'Z'."Needs a second. Requires a majority vote. What could be simpler?

A motion to Amend Something Previously Adopted requires a 2/3 vote, vote of a majority of the entire membership or a majority vote with previous notice. If the minutes have not yet been approved (I'm not real clear on what "issued" means), then simply make a motion when the minutes are pending for approval. That would require only a majority vote.
