Guest Linda Posted July 19, 2010 at 10:36 PM Report Share Posted July 19, 2010 at 10:36 PM Our PTA president is resigning for personal reasons and VP1 or VP2 do not want to take the position. Our Treasurer is willing to take the President spot how do we go about this? Our school year starts in August so for the remainder of the summer we will need her to step in and take over until we can formally vote her in at the PTA meeting. Guest Linda Posted July 19, 2010 at 10:44 PM Report Share Posted July 19, 2010 at 10:44 PM Is it just the current board that votes the new pres in or the whole school membership? It would be impossible to contact all members and have them vote!!!!

His only option is to also resign as president, since that's what he automatically became. The same (probably) goes for your second vice-president. So it looks like you have three vacancies to fill.
