Bro. Chris Posted July 20, 2010 at 07:35 PM Report Share Posted July 20, 2010 at 07:35 PM 1) If a special meeting is called for the purpose of changing minutes from a previous meeting does it require a 2/3 vote or just a majority?2) If a motion comes from a committee does it require a second on the floor? So is this change that important? Generally, special meetings don't approve minutes of previous meetings, but since you're going for Amending Something Previously Adopted, that requires a 2/3 vote, majority with notice, or majority of the entire membership.2) If the committee has two or more members, no. My answer wrongly assumed compliance with previous notice as well as the call to a special meeting. I wasn't confusing the two this time
