Guest Randy Posted July 22, 2010 at 02:09 AM Report Share Posted July 22, 2010 at 02:09 AM Can a nominating committee member nominate themselves for a Board of Director position? I am chair of the committee for the upcoming year position available and have a committee member that nominated themself. Is this appropriate? Can't find that it is not but some are saying it isn't. jstackpo Posted July 22, 2010 at 02:21 AM Report Share Posted July 22, 2010 at 02:21 AM The reason you can't find anything wrong with it in RONR is because there is nothing wrong with it. See p. 419.Ask those "some" where they are getting their injunctions.
