Guest Kristin Perez Posted August 2, 2010 at 11:40 PM Report Share Posted August 2, 2010 at 11:40 PM Our by-laws allow for a president or co-presidents, and our organization currently has co-presidents. The question is, do they have two votes (as two members of the board) or just one (because they are sharing one office)? I understand the situation is not recommended under Roberts Rules but it is what it is, for now at least. Any assistance you can provide would be greatly appreciated. Since yours do, then you both are officers and both can vote; one vote for each one.-Bobp.s. Amend your bylaws to make this clear for the future. Amend your bylaws so as not to allow for co-presidents. This is just the beginning of the problems you're about to face.
