Guest Rob Hoffman Posted August 5, 2010 at 09:55 PM Report Share Posted August 5, 2010 at 09:55 PM I belong to a small committee of 8 looking at revising ordinances. At the last meeting a motion was made and seconded to elect a new chairman of the group. Since the current chairman was absent, a motion was made, seconded and passed to table the item until the next meeting when the current chairman would be present. In the minutes of this meeting, is it required to identify who made the motion to elect a new chairman and who seconded it?

How could you elect or appoint a temporary chairman to administer this procedure?
