Robert B Fish Posted August 6, 2010 at 02:51 PM Report Share Posted August 6, 2010 at 02:51 PM Our organization has 37 chapters throughout the state. The Board of Directors consists of elected officers, committee chairs and a chapter representative from each chapter. Each gets one vote. If a chapter representative also holds an officer position, do they get two votes? No, unless the bylaws say otherwise. The principle is that each member has one vote. This person is still one member although he/she fills two of the board's ex-officio positions.-Bob
