Since no one got a majority of the 33 votes cast (17 would be needed) to be elected you would need to vote again and again until someone does get a majority. Everyone (D1-D5) would stay in the race (RONR pp. 426-427).

I don't think we can keep voting over and over.
Chris Harrison Posted August 17, 2010 at 04:12 PM Report Share Posted August 17, 2010 at 04:12 PM This vote is by mail. Hopefully your bylaws allow for voting by mail otherwise you can't do it and any actions taken would be null and void (RONR p. 244d, p. 255, pp. 408-409).What if you never get a majority? Then you won't be electing new Board members. This is for Board of Directors and not officers if it matters. It doesn't matter.I don't think we can keep voting over and over. You will need to or you won't be getting new Board members.
J. J. Posted August 17, 2010 at 05:57 PM Report Share Posted August 17, 2010 at 05:57 PM Can you vote for more than one director? If so how many ballots with at least one vote on it were cast? How many positions were up? Just on, or more?
