Guest Roxy Posted September 7, 2010 at 09:58 PM Report Share Posted September 7, 2010 at 09:58 PM Hi! My question is do you read the last AGM minutes and the last general meeting minutes at the AGM? or do you just read the last AGM minutes?
George Mervosh Posted September 7, 2010 at 10:01 PM Report Share Posted September 7, 2010 at 10:01 PM Firstly, you don't wait a year to approve AGM minutes. See RONR, p. 457ffDo you have monthly meetings of the membership, with one of them being the AGM?

Matt Schafer Posted September 8, 2010 at 12:24 AM Report Share Posted September 8, 2010 at 12:24 AM Yep. We have monthly meetings and one is the AGM.Then, at each monthly meeting, you would read and approve the minutes from the previous monthly meeting. One of these monthly meetings has a special name, called the annual meeting. A few extra things are done at the annual meeting, but they have no effect on when the minutes are approved. So at the annual meeting, read and approve the minutes from the previous monthly meeting; and at the monthly meeting after the annual meeting, read and approve the annual meeting minutes.
