Guest Hal Posted September 8, 2010 at 09:48 PM Report Share Posted September 8, 2010 at 09:48 PM I am of the understanding that Robert's Rules of Order determine the manner & procedures of meetings & the voting & or motions that may take place during those meetings. Does Robert's Rules of Order in any way determine whether or not an individual may hold 2 elected positions at the same time. The Union's Constitution & By-Laws does not speak to this issue. George Mervosh Posted September 8, 2010 at 10:16 PM Report Share Posted September 8, 2010 at 10:16 PM No rule in RONR prohibits it, and RONR does acknowledge the possibility of holding two positions sans a prohibition in the bylaws.
