Guest Steve M Posted September 16, 2010 at 04:24 PM Report Share Posted September 16, 2010 at 04:24 PM Are youth group nominated a coaches committee and the committee reccommend the coaches to the youth board one or the coaches got so much pressure to resign he did and the 2nd canidate wants the position. With that being said the youth board approved the coaches other then the one open spot. Now there is a vote of no confidence on the table and the association wants the committee remove by the rules should they elect all new coaches or only the open coaching position. The vote of no confidence is to remove the coaches committee? 2nd part it states in are bylaws that you need to have paid your dues to vote and some of the members that voted have not paid there current year dues can they vote?Thank you
hmtcastle Posted September 16, 2010 at 05:01 PM Report Share Posted September 16, 2010 at 05:01 PM The vote of no confidence is to remove the coaches committee? No, a vote of no confidence merely expresses an opinion. See FAQ #7.2nd part it states in are bylaws that you need to have paid your dues to vote and some of the members that voted have not paid there current year dues can they vote?Is that a trick question? If the rules say you can't vote if you haven't paid your dues then you can't vote if you haven't paid your dues. That's not RONR's rule but it seems to be yours. So follow it.
