Guest dennis Posted September 17, 2010 at 11:08 AM Report Share Posted September 17, 2010 at 11:08 AM If a member cannot make a meeting can they send in a proxy vote? Does it have to be a "form" by the organization like as a form for voting when you are out of town OR can a letter be written and signed by the member with their vote? It is my understanding that a member can have another member enter their proxy vote when they are absent.
jstackpo Posted September 17, 2010 at 11:53 AM Report Share Posted September 17, 2010 at 11:53 AM Proxy votes are only allowed if they are authorized in your bylaws (or appropriate state laws). "How to" details should be in the bylaws/laws.Ditto for absentee voting.
