paulmcclintock Posted September 20, 2010 at 08:40 AM Report Share Posted September 20, 2010 at 08:40 AM RONR p. 344 says an officer giving a report with a recommendation should not move implementation of the recommendation, that such a motion should come from another member. Assume such, and that the reporting officer is a member. Does it need an explicit second? I.e., if none is immediately given, should the chair call for one? Or should the chair and the assembly assume that a second member (the reporting officer) wishes for the motion to be considered?
