Guest Beth B Posted September 27, 2010 at 05:36 PM Report Share Posted September 27, 2010 at 05:36 PM A national club of which I am a lifetime member has submitted their bylaws to a vote. The bylaws were updated and revised substantially, but at one point the committee made an error on their revision and it actually reads that lifetime members shall pay dues. An email was sent out that this is an error and that a postcard would follow stating that lifetime members did not have to pay dues. I feel that technically my vote for the changes includes voting that lifetime members shall pay dues unless I receive a revised version of the bylaws. Is a notice of "It's not really this way" valid??
