hmtcastle Posted October 9, 2010 at 04:57 PM Report Share Posted October 9, 2010 at 04:57 PM At a recent board meeting, the membership did not vote to accept the minutes. What effect does this have on the meeting that did not have its minutes adopted?None. Except there's no official record of what was done. So you might not want to try to "undo" (e.g. amend or rescind) anything until you've approved the minutes.By the way, there should typically be no vote to approve (not "accept" or "adopt") minutes. Once any corrections have been the chair simply declares the minutes approved. The way to "object" to their approval is to offer a correction.
