nominations of officers

When nominations are made for the officers of an organization, how many positions can one individual be nominated for. ie; john smith for president, vice president and secretary. Does an individual have to choose one position and be on the ballet in that manner or run for aal three and see where they fall after the voting. Thanks

John Smith is allowed to be on the ballot for all the offices that are up for election. He can actually accept more than one if he wins as long as there is no rule against it and there is no contradiction in holding them.

I would amend that by adding "or custom" after the word rule.
