Kim Goldsworthy Posted October 27, 2010 at 10:10 PM Report Share Posted October 27, 2010 at 10:10 PM When a motion has been moved and seconded and then a discussion has taken place, prior to voting on the motion, can the motion be amended and then voted on?Yes.Indeed, that is what you supposed to do:1. Put the motion before the assembly.2. Perfect the motion, by adding/subtracting words, conditions, provisos, deadlines, costs, etc.3. Vote on it.You are not supposed to vote on X, and then get X into shape. That is so backwards.
