Tim Wynn Posted October 28, 2010 at 08:48 PM Report Share Posted October 28, 2010 at 08:48 PM Board tabled a resolution at previous meeting. We need to bring the resolution up for a vote, however, there is a proposed amendment to the original item. What is the proper approach? If the amendment was pending, when the motion was laid on the table, it will be pending when it is taken from the table. The amendment will be voted on before the resolution. If this amendment hasn't been moved, yet. It can be moved after the resolution is taken from the table. Any member can move to take the resolution from the table. It requires a second and a majority vote.
