Motion to Table

At a recent board meeting we had a very long discussion that needed additional information from our ED to make a decision. A motion was made to table the subject until our next board meeting with the additional information to be provided at that time. In addition the motion requires the board to make a yes or no decision at that time.

Can a motion to table include such a requirement?

I remember this question. It was answered in another thread.

That answer, by the way, was, "No."
