We will be having our monthly meeeting and electing nominating committee members and also delegates to a state convention. As president and presiding officer, I need to know the answer---and cannot find it in Robert's Revised...Thank you.

However, it's a good idea to get consent from the person in advance. See RONR(10th ed.), p. 430 for details.
