Guest Mike Posted November 17, 2010 at 04:57 PM Report Share Posted November 17, 2010 at 04:57 PM Is a Personnel Committee, a standing committee, on the same level as a Budget Finance Committee, another standing committee, in matters where it comes to a church vote anyway? It depends what your bylaws say, as that's where standing committees are typically defined. What standing committees are listed in your bylaws? Both are subordinate to the parent assembly, and their authority is defined in the Bylaws. What do you mean by asking if they are "on the same level?" What is the situation that is giving rise to this question?

What would it mean to YOU if Committee X was not on the same level as Committee Y?Why does ranking matter?
