Kim Goldsworthy Posted November 18, 2010 at 09:19 PM Report Share Posted November 18, 2010 at 09:19 PM Do minutes have to be submitted in long-hand or can they be typed? If you are asking if there is an explicit rule in Robert's Rules of Order, then the answer is "No." There is no rule that demands that minutes are to be submitted in handwriting, nor that minutes are to be submitted in typed form.I would hope that, before minutes are permanently bound in the minutes book, the minutes will be typed, if only for the sake of legibility.(Having only the author possess the ability to read the messy handwriting of a set of minutes is not a wise policy.)
